How to add UTM tags to your email
UTM tags are special tags that you add to the URL (link) of your email campaign to collect data about the traffic sources.
To add UTM tags to your email in Blocks go to the Settings section in the menu on the left and choose the UTM Parameters tab.
You can add basic UTM tags to your emails, such as:
utm_source – shows what website delivers you the traffic. Here you can also specify the type of campaign that brings you traffic: triggered, transactional, or newsletter.
utm_medium – this tag defines the source of the traffic, e.g. if you put the link into your email, you mention it this way “utm_medium=email”.
utm_campaign – the name of your campaign, e.g. “utm_campaign=promo_christmas”. Make these clear and understandable, so you can distinguish between your campaigns.
Additional tags are:
utm_term – it states the keyword of your campaign (not necessary).
utm_content – additional info (for example if you need to track what button in the email people click more frequently).
These special parameters will be applied to all links in the email.
